Victura: The Kennedys, a Sailboat, and the Sea tells the unique story of the 25-foot Wianno Senior sloop purchased by the Kennedys in 1932 and cherished by the family for decades. Struck by lightening in 1936, Victura went on to survive a hurricane in 1944 and escape a harbor fire in 2003. Today it can be seen from May to November ensconced at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston. Author James W. Graham, an oral history subject, participated in a public program at The Sixth Floor Museum on October 1, 2015. The recording can be viewed in full on the Museum’s YouTube channel.
