Our guidebook was written by Virginia historian Conover Hunt, the original project director for The Sixth Floor exhibit, before the "temporary" exhibit became The Sixth Floor Museum in 1989. Along with Dallas preservation activist Lindalyn Adams, Hunt devoted more than a decade to the creation of a historical exhibition on the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository building.
