The Texas School Book Depository building became the subject of worldwide attention after the tragic events of November 22, 1963. The Dallas Morning News once referred to this nondescript warehouse at the edge of downtown Dallas as “one of the world’s most photographed structures.”
This thin metal bookmark featuring the distinctive Depository exterior is highly detailed, including the partially open southeast corner window on the sixth floor and the Texas Historical Marker in the lower right corner that was added to the building in 1981.
